Xbox One is a powerful gaming console that can be used to stream content from your computer to the TV. But what if you want to use Xbox One as a Plex server? Here’s how it works. First, make sure that your Xbox One is connected to the internet and your computer. Then, open Plex on your computer and sign in. On the left side of the screen, click Server > Add Server. In the Add Server window, type in “xboxone” in the Server Name field and click OK. Now, on your Xbox One, open the Settings menu and select System > System Update > Check for Updates. If there are any updates available, they will be listed in the Updates section. Click Install and then wait while Plex downloads and installs the updates. Once the updates are installed, you’ll need to configure Plex on your Xbox One so that it can access your media files from your computer. In Plex on your computer, click Media Library > Add Source. In the Add Source window, type in “xboxone” in the Address field and click OK. Now you’ll need to give Plex permission to access your media files from inside of Xbox One’s storage system. In Plex on your computer, click Media Library > Preferences > General > Access Rights: Click Allow Access When Connected (This Will Allow Plex To Access Your Media Files When You’re Playing Games Or Watching Videos On The Console). Now you’re ready to start streaming content from your computer to Xbox One! ..
