In order to change Depop username from iPhone or Android, you will need to enter the following actions:
Open your mobile app and login with your credentials
Click on the profile icon in the top right of your screen. This is located where your bid requests are normally.
Tap ʺSettingsʺ. This action should be done by tapping on the gear icon under ʺProfile Nameʺ. You should also have a new window pop up once you tapped this option. Keep this open for now as we are going to use ʺProfile Nameʺ and ʺUsernameʺ later.
Click ʺBack Up Products Now (or Back Up Later)ʺ.This is located directly below the ʺSettings tab. The option that you click will depend on whether or not you have any products posted yet, so choose accordingly! When clicking on this tab it may prompt you to select an option: either backup now or at a later time. Choose backup now! If you’re using iOS please be aware that this action can take upwards of 5 minutes depending on how many images are in your Depop account, however if you’re using Android the process should complete faster. When the ʺbackup nowʺ option is selected a ʺBack Up Products ʺ button will appear in the top right corner of your Depop profile, as shown below.
