Xbox One S games don’t need a power brick, according to Microsoft. The company says that the console’s internal power supply can handle the extra demands of some games. “Xbox One S is designed to be more powerful than any other console on the market,” said Xbox marketing manager Aaron Greenberg in a statement. “Some of the new features and enhancements in Xbox One S include higher resolution graphics and faster frame rates, which require more power from the console.” Greenberg says that most Xbox One S games will run just fine without a power brick.
