Mooch is a character in the video game Final Fantasy XIV. He is a spirit that helps players with their quests and provides them with buffs and abilities. He is also the spirit of the player’s pet dog, Mog. Mooch first appears in the prologue of the game, where he helps Tidus find his way to Thedas. After Tidus defeats Sinhara, Mooch joins him on his journey to find Eorzea. Mooch can be found throughout Thedas, providing buffs and abilities to players as they explore it. He can also be found at various points around the world, including in The Great Temple of Dormin in Orsinium. Mooch is one of the few spirits that can be summoned by players through use of an item called a Mooch Staff. This staff allows players to summon Mooch for a short period of time, before he disappears again.
