In Rocket League, the game’s $10 million dollar prize pool is divided equally between the top eight teams. This means that if one team has a player on their roster that is worth $100,000 in Rocket League, then the other seven teams are also allowed to claim that player’s share of the prize pool. So far, only one player has been worth more than $100,000 in Rocket League: Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar. The actor and filmmaker was added to the game’s roster for Season 5 and his salary has since increased by $10,000 per week. His inclusion has given his team an extra $2 million in prize money - which would put him at around $128,000 if all of his salary was added up. This doesn’t include any other income Nolan may have received from his work on Interstellar or any other projects he may have worked on outside of Rocket League. So while it is difficult to estimate how much Interstellar would be worth in Rocket League terms given its relatively low value within the game itself, it is safe to say that it would be around $8 million.
