If you have an Optus modem, it’s important to activate it so that your internet service can start working. Activating your modem will ensure that your internet service is available when you need it and will help to keep your data safe. To activate your Optus modem, follow these steps:
- Open the Optus website and login.
- On the homepage, click on the “My Modem” tab.
- In the “Activate my modem” field, enter the following information: Your name Your address Your phone number Your email address The activation code You will need to provide this information in order for us to activate your modem for you. If you do not have an Optus account or if you have changed your phone number or email address since we last activated our modem for you, please contact us so we can update you on our latest activations and services. Please note that if you do not have an account with us and would like to use a different type of internet service (like cable), then we cannotactivate your modem for you - sorry!
- Click on the “Activate my modem” button and wait for our team to process the activation process.
