Xbox One owners have been asking for a way to adjust the screen size for a while now. Microsoft finally released an update that allows users to change the screen size on their console. The Xbox One S and X both come with a HDMI port, so you can easily change the screen size without having to use an external device. To adjust the screen size, follow these steps:

  1. Press the Menu button on your controller and select Settings.
  2. Select System and then select Display.
  3. Under Screen Size, select one of the options below: 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) - If you have an Xbox One S or X 4K Ultra HD TV that supports HDR, this is the best option for viewing your games and movies in high definition. The resolution is so high that some people may find it too sharp or pixelated when viewed from close up or from across a room. 1080p - If you don’t have a 4K Ultra HD TV or if you want to watch games and movies in standard definition, this is the best option for you. The resolution is still high enough that most people will be able to see all of the details in games and movies. 720p - If you only have a standard definition TV, this is the best option for you because it’s lower resolution than 1080p but still looks good enough to watch games and movies without any noticeable lag or distortion. You can also choose to not use any scaling at all if you want to keep your original screen size (which is what I usually do). 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) - If you have an Xbox One S or X 4K Ultra HD TV that supports HDR, this is the best option for viewing your games and movies in high definition.
