Verizon Wireless is one of the most popular providers of cell phone service in the United States. With over 100 million customers, Verizon Wireless offers a variety of plans and options to suit everyone’s needs. To authenticate a Verizon phone, you will need the IMEI number and the model number. The IMEI number is located on the back of your phone, just below the battery. The model number can be found on a label near the bottom of your phone. To authenticate your Verizon phone, follow these steps:

  1. Turn off your phone and remove the battery.
  2. Locate the IMEI number on the back of your phone. Write it down or save it to a computer for later use.
  3. Locate the model number on a label near the bottom of your phone. Write it down or save it to a computer for later use.
  4. Turn on your phone and enter both numbers into a search engine like Google or Yahoo! (note: don’t include any spaces). You will see results that include both numbers separated by an “=” sign. Click on one of these results to open its page in a new window/tab. =Verizon Wireless Inc., VZW-LTE1_LTE2_LTE3_LTE4_LTE5_LTE6_LTE7=
  5. On this page, you will see information about your Verizon phone, including its IMEI and model numbers. Copy both numbers from this page and paste them into Google or Yahoo! again (without any spaces), this time entering just “IMEI” and “model.” You’ll see results that only include one number per line (for example: VZW-LTE1_IMEI). Click on one of these results to open its page in a new window/tab. ..
