If you have an account with a software company, you may be able to authorize this computer to download previous purchases from that company’s account. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Open the account management program on your computer. This program is usually called “Windows Live” or “Microsoft Account.”
  2. In the account management program, click on the “Authorize This Computer” button.
  3. Enter your name and password for the account you are using to manage your software purchases.
  4. Click on the " Authorize Computer button."
  5. Your computer will now be authorized to download previous purchases from your account with that company’s software company.
