If you’re ever faced with the task of booting your laptop from a USB drive, there are a few things you can do to make the process easier. First, make sure that your laptop is properly plugged in to the power outlet and that it’s turned on. Second, make sure that your USB drive is formatted as FAT32. Finally, insert the USB drive into your computer and reboot your computer. Once your computer has restarted, open a command prompt and type “diskutil list” to see all of the devices connected to your system. If you see a device called “USB0” connected to your system, then your laptop is likely booted from its USB drive by default.
