If you’re a Boomerang user, there’s a good chance you’ve received an email notification about the new Boomerang features. But if you don’t want to receive future notifications, here’s how to cancel them:

  1. Open the Boomerang app and sign in.
  2. Click on the “Cancel Notification” button at the top of the main screen.
  3. The email will be cancelled and your account will be updated with the new information.

Cancel all emails: this will remove all scheduled Boomerangs from your account and delete any existing recurring emails (they will be sent at their next scheduled time). This is not reversible.

Cancel active email: this removes just the currently active process for email you are writing. After clicking on this button, you’ll receive a confirmation message asking if you’re sure you want to stop the email from sending.

click on this button, you’ll receive a confirmation message asking if you’re sure you want to stop the email from sending. Additionally, there is an icon next to each Boomerang in your Gmail or Inbox by Gmail interface that allows you to cancel it at any time and avoid sending it immediately.

-Click on ‘More’ drop down menu (little black down arrow) directly beside Boomerang icon in gmail/inbox by gmail interface -Select ‘settings’ -From here I have two options: I can either set up an automatic send schedule or I can manually send the email now (by default it says manual). Under ‘Schedule’, I select ‘Custom Schedule’ and put in the time & date. -Click on save at the bottom of my screen.

Sound easy? It is! Here’s a quick video showing how to set up an automatic send schedule: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tnt9SqISADI

Hope this helps you out! Happy marketing 🙂 Boomerang is for Gmail only, but if someone knows of a similar product for Outlook, please comment below as we’d be happy to share our findings!
