If you’re a Grindr user on Android, there are a few ways to cancel your account. If you’re using the app on a phone that’s not locked, you can do this by going to the “Settings” menu and selecting “Accounts.” From there, you can select “Cancel Account.” If you’re using an Android phone that is locked, you can’t cancel your account.
Grindr Xtra costs $8.99/month or $89.99/year. Grindr members will be automatically billed the Grindr Xtra fee through Google Play, using the same payment method they used to purchase Grindr Xtra from Grindr. Grindr Xtra subscription payments must be made with a valid credit card. Grindr will never charge for Grindr Xtra using Grindr Coins purchased within Grindr. Grindr members who purchase Grindr Xtra can cancel their Grindr account by going to Grindr Account Settings and tapping Grindr Xtra.
Click the Gear Icon on the top right corner of your home screen or go to Grind App Settings, then click “Manage Grindr Xtra Subscription”.
From here you’ll need two things:
The Google order number that was emailed to you when purchasing in-app products
Your password.
Now you are able to see when your subscription expires, and manage Grindr Xtra. The process is the same for Android or Grindr on iPhone. Grindr Xtra Subscription can be cancelled from here and you will no longer be charged after this date. Grindr members who have an active Grindr Xtra subscription, but cancel their Grindr account will not have access to Grindr Xtra anymore since it was part of their Grindr membership plan.
Click “Cancel”. You’ll then prompted with a warning message: “If you cancel your Grindr Xtra subscription, you won’t be able to use Grindr until your next recurring billing cycle begins.”
So you’ve found Grindr on your Android device, and have decided that Grindr isn’t the app for you. That’s OK – Grindr is free to try out, so I’m sure Grindr has a lot of other features that are more interesting than Grindr subscription. However, in order to start using your phone like normal again without Grindr icon sitting there on your home screen, you’ll need to enter Grindr settings and cancel Grindr subscription. Unfortunately, this is not easy – Grindr does not make it simple to cancel Grindr subscription. But don’t worry! Generate unique promotional code. Enter the generated code in your mobile phone. Generated card number verification codes can only be used once and will expire after a period of time has passed . From this point on, you will receive a text message with an order confirmation for your last purchase when you launch the Grindrs app .
