The first thing that you need to do is to take off the front panel of your Samsung dryer. This panel is usually held on by screws, and once it’s off, you can access the drum and motor. The first thing that you want to do is check the lint filter. If it’s dirty, then you’ll need to clean it using a vacuum cleaner with a crevice tool attachment. Make sure that all of the dust and debris is removed from inside of the filter before replacing it. Next, check the venting system on your Samsung dryer. If there are any blockages in the system, then they will need to be cleared out before continuing. Once everything looks good from here, replace the drum and motor assembly with a new one by following these instructions:
- Remove all of the screws that are holding down the assembly onto the machine chassis
- Lift up on both ends of assembly until it separates from machine chassis
