Xbox 360 owners have been asking for a way to change the display settings on their consoles for years. Microsoft has finally given in, and released a new guide that explains how to change the display settings on your Xbox 360. The first thing you need to do is open the Xbox 360 dashboard. From there, select Settings and then Display. You’ll see three options: Home Screen, Game Mode, and Picture Mode. Picture Mode is where you can adjust the color temperature, contrast, brightness, and saturation. You can also choose between Standard or Movie mode. Standard mode is what most people are probably used to; it’s set at a default level that’s comfortable for most people. Movie mode is designed for watching movies or playing games in dark rooms; it makes the colors more vibrant and gives the image a more cinematic feel. Game Mode is designed for playing games; it has higher levels of contrast and brightness than Picture Mode, which makes it better for playing games in bright environments. Home Screen is designed for viewing videos or browsing the internet; it has lower levels of contrast and brightness than Game Mode and Picture Mode, which makes it better for viewing videos or browsing the internet in dark environments. ..
