If you’re having trouble connecting to the internet, or if you just want to change your iPhone’s IP address for some reason, here’s how to do it.

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap on Wi-Fi and then tap on the name of the network you want to connect to.
  3. If you don’t have a password set for this network, enter it now and then tap on Connect.
  4. If you have a password set for this network, enter it now and then tap on Connect again.
  5. In the “IP Address” section, under “Default Gateway,” click on the button that says “Manage.”
  6. In the “Manage” window that pops up, scroll down until you see “IP Address.” Underneath that, there will be a box that says “Primary DNS.” Click on that box and type in a new DNS address (or click on the arrow next to it and select one from your computer). You can also type in a new IP address if you want (but make sure you write it down so you can remember it). 7. Click on OK in the “Manage” window and then close it out of Settings app by tapping on the X at the top right corner of its screen. 8. Restart your iPhone if necessary (by pressing and holding down both buttons at once until you see an alert message telling you to release both buttons) and then try connecting to Wi-Fi again! ..
