Xbox controllers come with a built-in battery, but if you’re not using them often or if the battery is starting to run low, it’s time to replace it. Here are some tips on how to charge your Xbox controller battery:

  1. Plug the Xbox controller into an outlet and wait for it to charge.
  2. Once the Xbox controller has charged, plug it back in to an outlet and turn it on.
  3. If your Xbox controller has a built-in battery, hold down the power button and plug in the USB cable that came with your controller. If your Xbox controller doesn’t have a built-in battery, you’ll need to find an outlet that can supply power to your controller and plug in the USB cable.
  4. Once your Xbox controller has been plugged in and turned on, hold down the power button until you see a light come on (this will tell you that the Xboxcontroller is charging).
  5. When the light goes out, release the power button and wait for it to charge again (this will take about 30 minutes).
