If you’re like most people, you probably check Instagram every day to see what new posts are up. But if you’re like me, sometimes it’s hard to tell if your favorite posts are from people you follow or if they’re just randomly shared by someone who happened to see them. To help you figure out which posts are from you and which ones are from other users, I’ve put together a few tips that can help.
- Check the date of the post: If a post is older than a day or two, it’s likely from someone who follows you and shared it randomly. If the post is newer, it might be from someone who follows you and liked your post.
- Look for hashtags: If there’s a hashtag associated with the post (like #fitbit or #sprint), that might clue you in that it’s from someone who follows you and likes your content.
- Check out other users’ photos: Sometimes when we look at other users’ posts, we can see what kind of clothes they’re wearing or what kind of workouts they’re doing. This can help us determine whether the person following us is just sharing something random or if they have an idea for a future post that we should check out!
