If you’re like most Xbox One owners, you probably have a few headsets lying around your house. But if you want to use them with your console, you’ll need to connect them first. Here’s how:
- Open the Xbox One Settings app and select “System.”
- Under “Audio & Video,” select “Headsets.”
- On the left side of the screen, under “Devices,” select the headset you want to use. If it’s not listed, it likely isn’t connected to your Xbox One yet.
- Under “Audio Output,” select “Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter.” If your headset has an audio cable attached, connect it here instead.
- Select the microphone on the other end of the adapter and press OK. The console will scan for available devices and should show a green checkmark next to your headset if it’s connected successfully. ..
