If you’re like most people, you probably have an iPhone hotspot set up in your home or office. But if you’re like me, you also have a printer connected to that hotspot. And if you’re like most people, you don’t know how to connect that printer to your iPhone. The good news is that there are a few steps you can take to connect your printer to your iPhone Hotspot. The bad news is that there are a few steps you can take to connect your printer to your iPhone Hotspot that could potentially damage or even brick your device. So first, make sure that the printer is connected to the power outlet and the network. Then open up the printer’s driver software and follow the prompts to install the drivers for your specific model of printer. Once those drivers are installed, open up the printer’s settings and make sure that “iPhone Hotspot” is listed as an available port on the port settings page. Finally, make sure that “Printer Sharing” is enabled on the print server and on the printers themselves so that any prints made from those printers will be shared between all of them. If all of these steps don’t work for you or if something goes wrong while trying to print from your printer using an iPhone Hotspot, please reach out to us at support@apple.com and we’ll help troubleshoot any issues you may have.
