Xbox 360 controllers have a mic jack on the back, so you can connect a wired microphone to your console. However, many people don’t know how to do this. Here’s how:

  1. Connect the mic cable from your computer to the mic jack on your controller.
  2. Plug the other end of the cable into an Xbox 360 and plug it into an outlet.
  3. Turn on your Xbox 360 and press the power button to turn it on.
  4. Press and hold down the left analog stick until you hear a beep sound and then release it. You should now see a list of devices in the Devices section of your console’s settings screen (if it isn’t already there). If everything is working correctly, you should see something like this: “Xbox 360 - Mic” in that section: Now that you have a wired microphone connected to your Xbox 360, you can start using it for voice chat or gaming purposes!
