Xbox controllers are not the only devices that can be connected to Chromebooks. A variety of software applications, such as Google Drive and YouTube, work with Xbox controllers as well. The following steps will show you how to connect an Xbox controller to a Chromebook:

  1. Connect the Xbox controller to your computer using an USB cable.
  2. Open the Chrome browser and navigate to the Google Drive website.
  3. Click on the link that says “Add a device.”
  4. Type in “Xbox” into the text field and click on the Add button.
  5. The next screen will show you a list of devices that have been added to your Google Drive account. Select the Xbox controller from among these devices and click on the OK button to add it to your account.
