If you’re like most gamers, you probably have a PlayStation 4 and a broadband connection. But what if you want to use your PS4 as a home theater PC? Or if you just want to be able to play games offline? Here’s how to connect your PS4 to an Ethernet network. First, make sure that your PS4 is connected to the internet. Then, open the Settings menu on your PS4 and select Network. Under “Network Type,” select “Ethernet.” If your PS4 is connected to a wireless network, you’ll need to enter the network’s password before proceeding. Now, under “Ethernet Connection,” select “Use Default Gateway.” This will automatically set up your PS4 as a gateway for all traffic entering and leaving the network. Next, under “IP Address,” enter the IP address of the router or modem that’s connected to your broadband connection. If you don’t know what your IP address is, check out our guide on how to find it. Finally, under “Subnet Mask,” enter 255.255.255.0 (or whatever subnet mask is assigned to your network). Now that everything’s set up, it’s time for some gaming! Just connect your PlayStation 4 to the same Ethernet network as the router or modem and start playing games online without any problems! ..
