If you’re one of the many Australians who have yet to connect to the National Broadband Network (NBN), there are a few things you can do to get started. First, make sure your modem is compatible with NBN. Optus offers a range of modems that are compatible with the network, so be sure to check which one is right for you. Once you’ve confirmed your modem is compatible, you’ll need to connect it to your home network. To do this, first make sure your modem is plugged into an outlet and then connect it to your home router using an Ethernet cable. Once connected, open up a web browser on your computer and type in the address of your home router’s admin panel. You’ll then need to enter your router’s password in order to access it. Once you’re logged in, click on the “WAN” tab and then select “Optus Modem.” From here, you’ll need to enter the IP address of your modem (which can be found on the back of the device) and port number (which can be found on the bottom of the device). Next, click on “Connect.” If everything goes according to plan, you should now be able to access all of your internet services through NBN! ..
