If you want to delete a video on Vimeo, you can do so by going to the “delete” tab and selecting the video you want to delete. Once you select the video, you will be able to click on the “delete” button.

You can change video storage to off so that video files are not stored on Vimeo. However, video backup is turned on by default. This means that video files are saved in the video library even if you have deleted or terminated your account:

After 30 days of storage, video files will be permanently removed from servers. If you want to reduce the number of times a video has been played, click on statistics and then ‘video views’ to view the video’s play count:

Once you have deleted a video from your account, it will still appear as part of the public viewing stats (below) for all other videos in your channel once they have had their playback settings changed to public.
