Boxbe is a popular file-sharing and storage service that allows users to share files, photos, and videos with others. However, if you no longer need Boxbe, there are several ways to delete it from your computer. To delete Boxbe from your computer:
- Open the Windows Start menu and search for “Boxbe.”
- When Boxbe appears in the results list, right-click on it and select “Delete.”
- Click on “Yes” when the confirmation window pops up. ..
Click on the settings cog in your browser toolbar. Select “Settings” from the drop down menu. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click through to “Delete Account”. Type in your email address (the one associated with your Boxbe account). Click “Delete” button. You will then receive a confirmation link via email that you must confirm before deleting accounts is complete.
Your retention score is calculated by the amount of time spent consuming media from a particular app or publisher. For instance, if you watch 10 videos in 30 minutes your score would be 300%. New users tend to have a lower score than more experienced users. There are many factors that can impact your retention score such as: The device you consume on (desktop vs mobile).
Time spent away from the platform for extended periods. The easiest way to improve your retention rate is to continue using boxbe and increase the number of pages read/videos watched each day! The more time spent with us leads to better insights and higher retention rates.
What kinds of data are collected on boxbe? Can I see the data that is being collected, or opt out of any of this data collection?
Yes. All information collected on boxbe is for the purposes of improving your retention score and helping to provide you with more relevant content to read/watch. You can opt in/out from certain types of behavioral tracking by clicking “Settings” in your browser toolbar, then scrolling down to selecting Boxbe Data Collection under Applications & Websites (right side). From here you can enable/disable certain features that collect data such as: do not track (DNT)*, open graph†, analytics‡, social sharing§ and storage¶.
Boxbe is a free service that allow users to freely upload content. We do not delete user accounts due to inappropriate content. For more details, please refer to Boxbe Terms of Service (You agree to the following terms when using this site).
Please understand that we have no control over the content being uploaded and published on Boxbe. However you can flag for any suspected abusive contents by going into your account settings and reporting it. If there are sufficient evidences of abuse or our staffs believe there is violation in our Terms of Service, the reported accounts will be deleted within 24 hours. Please note that all the contents & data will be permanently deleted from our server upon account deletion if there is privacy concerns(such as profile photo, private message contents,..).
How do I change my profile info?
You can edit your profile picture and cover image anytime by going into your account settings at boxbe.com . Please note that changing certain information such as public name or username will require you to transfer your username to another account if it is already reserved by someone else. You may also email us at [email protected] in case there are other details you want changed but we may not be able to accommodate all the requests due to various reasons including copyright claims. Please understand that it may take up to 24hours before your change request can be processed and implemented on our end
By default, any new private messages will show in the chat list tab, and you can turn OFF notifications for this specific feature by going into your account settings -> Notifications and unchecking “Private Message” OR you can mute the conversation by clicking on the individual user’s profile image next to the latest message or use “/mute username” in public chatroom.
