If you’re a Verizon customer, there’s a good chance you’ve received a message asking you to delete messages. This is usually done in order to improve performance or to prevent spam. There are a few ways to do this, but the most common way is to go into your account settings and select the “delete messages” option. Once you do this, all your messages will be gone. If you don’t want to delete all your messages, there are other ways to do this as well. You can use the “manage myMessages” feature on your account or use the “delete messages” option on your phone app.

SMS and MMS Messages – Open the message and choose Delete Message. Viewing a picture attachment? Select “View Image” then select Delete Photo(s). The sender will not receive a notification if you delete the message. You can also block senders.

With Mobile Web access via My Verizon, click Settings, then Verizon Messaging Center to enable/disable alerts for read, unread, urgent and received voicemails (and check status) when using Broadband Access Phone Service only. Voicemail waiting alerts are already enabled by default at no extra cost. Voicemail alerts are not available in all areas.

Additionally, if your device is set to receive text messages from multiple numbers, you should turn off notifications for the secondary number(s) on that specific device and use a different method to view incoming messages for safety reasons. You can also change your voicemail settings by logging into My Verizon or contacting us at 611 from your mobile phone.

As a reminder, here’s how to request a pin for your Pinsave account – http://communityforums.verizonwireless.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/170813#M…  and ensuring that you keep this account secure when not using it so that no one can get access and delete your pins if they gain access to your device or login credentials on their own? If this happens, we’re sorry but unfortunately nothing can be retrieved in these cases as the pins have been deleted by another party already. 🙂 Let me know if you need help with anything else and I’ll try my best to help ya out!

Hope this helps! :
