If you’re like most couples, you probably have a knot wedding website saved on your computer. But if you want to delete it, there are a few steps involved. First, make sure that the website is actually still online. If it’s been deleted from your computer or removed from the internet, you won’t be able to delete it. Next, open up your web browser and type in the address of your knot wedding website. If it’s hosted on a domain name (like knotweddingwebsite.com), enter that address into your browser. If the website is hosted on a domain name (like knotweddingwebsite.com), click on the “hosting information” link next to the website’s domain name in the web browser window that pops up. This will take you to a page where you can see the IP address and hostname of your knot wedding website. Copy both of these numbers down before continuing with this step. Now open up Google Chrome or Firefox and go to https://www.google.com/webmasters/. On this page, enter in both of the numbers that you copied from your Knot Wedding Website Hosting Information page earlier (the IP address and hostname). Click on “Search Google for results…” and Google will return all of the websites that are using that same IP address and hostname as yours! You can now scroll through these websites until you find yours (it may take a few minutes). Once you find it, click on its URL (the blue text under “Website Address”) to open it up in your web browser window. Now click on the “Cancel Site Access…” button at the top right corner of this window and confirm by clicking on “Yes, I want to cancel my site access!” Finally, click on “Delete My ..
