If you’re like many IMVU users, you may have an account that you don’t use very often. Maybe you set it up when you first started using IMVU, but now you only use it occasionally to check your messages or see your friends’ profiles. In any case, it’s probably a good idea to disable your account so that it doesn’t take up space on IMVU’s servers. Here’s how to do it:
- Log in to your IMVU account and click the “Account” tab at the top of the page.
- Under “Account Settings,” click on the “Disable Account” button next to the account that you want to disable.
- Enter your password in the “Password” field and click on the “Disable Account” button again.
- You’ll now be prompted to confirm that you want to disable this account. Click on the “Yes, Disable This Account” button and your account will be disabled! ..

If you wish to delete your IMVU account please follow these steps:
1 – Go to Account Panel
2 – Click the Delete my Account button
3 – Read What’s Leaving message and if you are sure that you want to delete your account click the Confirm button and then after a couple of seconds your account will be deleted.
4- If you have any outstanding credits you will receive a purchase code for them via email in few days after the deletion of your account.
5- After your account is deleted they give 30 days to reactivate it , if they don’t get any response in that period then permanently delete the account forever.
