If you’re ever going to need to disassemble a PlayStation 4 controller, there are a few things you’ll need. The first is a Phillips screwdriver, because the screws on the back of the controller are quite tight. Once you have the screws out, it’s time to start dismantling the controller. The first step is to remove the two screws on the top of the controller. This will allow you to remove the entire controller. Next, remove all of the buttons and joysticks from the controller. Be careful not to damage any of them in doing this. Once all of those parts are gone, it’s time to start dismantling everything else inside of the controller. Start by removing any cords that come with it (if there are any). Then, take apart each button andjoystick individually. Be sure not to damage them in doing this! Once everything is separated, it’s time to put everything back together again! reattach all cords and put back together any buttons andjoysticks that were removed earlier.

If you’re like most gamers, you probably have a Ps4 controller lying around somewhere. But if you ever need to take it apart, you might be a little intimidated. Don’t worry – this guide will show you how to do it. First, remove the screws that hold the controller together. There are six of them on the front and back of the unit. Once they’re out, gently pull the controller apart. The first thing you’ll want to do is remove the battery and memory card. To do this, just twist off their respective caps. Be careful not to lose any of these pieces! Once those are out, take a look at the circuit board inside the controller. You’ll see several buttons and ports here, as well as a microSD card slot and a USB port (which can be used for charging your phone). To get to these ports, you’ll need to remove some more screws from the circuit board. There are eight of them total – four on each side of the board. Once they’re out, carefully lift up the board and set it aside. Now that everything is separated, it’s time to clean everything up! Use some rubbing alcohol or a vacuum cleaner to clean all of the dust and debris off of the circuit board and buttons. Make sure everything is completely dry before reassembling your Ps4 controller! ..
