If you’re a PlayStation 4 owner, you know that your console has an address bar at the top of the screen. This bar contains your system’s MAC address, which is used to identify your device in PlayStation Network. To find out what your console’s MAC address is, open the PlayStation Network app on your device and click on the “System Info” tab. Under “Device Name,” look for the “Mac Address” field and enter in the value shown. For example, if you’re using a MacBook Air, enter “12:00:00” into the field and click on “OK.” If you don’t see your Mac Address in System Info, it likely means that it hasn’t been added to the list yet. You can check this by opening Settings on your device and clicking on “Network & Internet.” Under “Network Type,” select “Wi-Fi.” If there’s no Mac Address listed under Wi-Fi Connection Type, then it likely hasn’t been added to PlayStation Network yet.
