If you’ve ever deleted an app on your iPhone, you know how frustrating it can be to have to find and reinstall the app. But there’s a better way: using iCloud. iCloud is a service that lets you store your apps and data in one place, so you can easily access it when you need it. When you delete an app, iCloud deletes all of the data associated with that app, including any photos or videos that were taken with it. To get back an app you deleted on iPhone, follow these steps:

  1. Open iCloud and sign in to your account. If you don’t have an iCloud account yet, create one now.
  2. Click the App Store icon in the top left corner of iCloud and select the app you want to restore from the list of apps on your device. If the app is password-protected, enter its password when prompted. If the app is not password-protected, select “Open in App Store” from the “Open In” pop-up menu and follow instructions onscreen.
  3. On your device, open up Settings and select “Privacy.” Under “Data Collection,” select “Delete All Data if Deleted.” This will delete all of the data associated with the deleted app as well as any photos or videos that were taken with it while it was deleted.
