If you’ve ever had an Xbox account, you know that it’s a valuable resource. But if you lose your account or it’s stolen, you may not be able to get it back. Here are some tips on how to get your old Xbox account back. If you have an Xbox Live account, the first thing to do is sign in and make sure your profile is up-to-date. If there are any changes that need to be made, like a new email address or phone number, make sure those changes are reflected in your profile. If you don’t have an Xbox Live account, the first step is to create one. Once you have an account, go to xbox.com and sign in with your Microsoft Account (MSA) credentials. If you don’t have an MSA, you can create one by going to microsoftaccounts.com and signing in with your email address and password. Once you’re logged in, click on “My Games & Apps.” Under “Your Games & Apps,” select “Accounts.” You’ll see all of the accounts associated with your MSA – including any old Xbox accounts that are linked to that MSA. Click on the name of the old account that you want to recover access to and then click on “Manage.” On the next page, under “Account Details,” click on “Activation Details.” You’ll see a list of all of the games and apps associated with that account – including any digital content that was purchased using that account’s credit card or Microsoft Points (MSP). Click on the game or app that you want information about and then click on “Details.” On the next page, under “Game Data,” click on “History.” You’ll see a list of all of the games played using that account over the past 30 days – including how many hours each game was played and what level it was at when it was finished.
