If you’re ever feeling like you’re just not in the mood for a video, there are a few ways to pause it without having to take your phone off of your face. Here are three tips:

  1. Open Instagram and sign in. This will give you the option to pause the video on your main screen.
  2. Tap on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen and select “Pause.” This will take you to a menu where you can select how long you want the video to stay paused for.
  3. To resume playback, open Instagram and sign out again or tap on “Resume.”
