If you’re a music lover like me, then you know that iTunes is the best way to store and access your music. But if you’re like most people, you also have an iPhone. And if you’re like most people, you don’t have FLAC files. FLAC files are a format that was created by the file-sharing website Napster. They’re a lossless format that allows for high-quality audio playback on devices like the iPhone and iPad. And they work just as well on Apple’s own Music app as they do on other platforms, such as Spotify or Google Play Music. There are a few things you need in order to play FLAC files on your iPhone: an FLAC player (like the one found on your computer), an iOS device, and some music. First, find the FLAC player that corresponds to your device type and platform. For example, if you have an iPhone 6s Plus, then the best FLAC player for that is probably the Apple Music app’s built-in player. If you don’t have an Apple Music account yet or if your phone doesn’t support FLAC playback, then there are plenty of other options out there forFLAC players (like Rhapsody). Once you’ve found the rightFLAC player for your platform and device type/platform, it’s time to start playing! To start playing a song from a FLAC file on your iPhone or iPad: open up iTunes and click on “File” in the top left corner of the main screen. Then select “Open in new window.” In this new window, select “Browse my library” from the list of options at the bottom of the window and browse to where you stored your FLAC file(s). Onceyou’ve found it, click on it to play it!
