If you’re a PlayStation 3 owner who’s been itching to play your Xbox 360 games on your system, there’s good news: You can do just that with a little bit of work. Here’s how to make the switch:
- First, make sure that your PS3 is connected to the internet and your Xbox 360 is connected to the same network.
- Next, open up the PlayStation Network app on your PS3 and sign in.
- On the main menu screen, select “Settings” and then “System.” Under “System,” select “Media Storage.” Select “Xbox 360” from the list of devices and press X to add it. Press Y to confirm and then press X again to close the window.
- On the main menu screen of your Xbox 360, select “Games & Apps” and then select “Xbox Live.” Select “Profile Settings” under “My Games & Apps.” Select “Use Another Profile” and enter your PSN ID in the field that appears. Press A to save changes and then press B to return to the main menu screen.
- Now you’re ready to start playing your Xbox 360 games on your PS3! Just launch them from within the Games & Apps section of your Xbox 360 dashboard or by selecting them from within the PlayStation Network app on your PS3. ..
