If you have a Google Home, it’s likely that you’ve heard of the feature called “Google Home voice commands.” This is a way for you to control your home’s devices, like lights and appliances, with just your voice. If you’re not sure how to use this feature, we recommend reading our Google Home guide. In short, if you have a Google Home and want to remove it from your home, here are some tips:
- Open the Google Home app on your phone or computer.
- On the main screen, click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen (the ones with blue circles). This will take you to a menu where you can select “Remove from device.”
- Type in “Google Home” into one of the boxes on the Remove from device screen and press OK. The Google Home will be removed from your home and will no longer be able to control devices in your home.
