If you have a Facebook post, and you want to remove the share button, there are a few things that you can do.

  1. Open the Facebook app on your device.
  2. Click on the three lines in the top left corner of the main screen, and then select “Edit Post”.
  3. In the “Post Type” field, select “Text”.
  4. In the “Text Field” field, type “removeShareButton”.
  5. Click on the green check mark next to this text field, and then click on the save button to create a new post with this new share button removed.
