If you’re like most people, you probably have an Instagram account and want to keep it up to date with all of your favorite photos and posts. But if you don’t want your Instagram number associated with your account, there are a few steps you can take to remove it.

  1. Log into your account and click on the three lines in the top left corner of the screen that say “Settings.”
  2. On the left side of the Settings screen, click on “Privacy.”
  3. In Privacy, click on the three lines in the top right corner of the screen that say “Phone Number.”
  4. Click on the three lines in the bottom left corner of the screen that say “Remove Number.”
  5. Click on “Yes” on both boxes to confirm your removal.
