  1. Open the dishwasher door and empty the detergent and rinse water from the dishwasher.
  2. Open the detergent dispenser and add a cup of detergent to the washer’s drum. Close the door to the dishwasher and turn on the water.
  3. Wait until all of the detergent has been added to the washer, then close and turn off the water again.
  4. Open the door of the dishwasher again and empty any remaining detergent from both drums in the dishwasher.
