If you’re a user of SoundCloud, it’s important to remember your password. If you lose your password or if someone else gets access to your account, they could use it to listen to your music and other files without you knowing. To reset your SoundCloud password, follow these steps:
- Log into your account on the website.
- Click on the “reset password” link in the top right corner of the main screen.
- Enter your new password in the text field and click on the “reset” button.
- Your account will be reset and you will be able to access your music and other files again!
The Forgot Password link is not a direct way of getting into your account; it will simply send an email with instructions on what to do next. So if you’re still stuck after following those instructions (go through all of them very thoroughly), don’t be surprised! 🙂 And if that’s the case I’d recommend taking advantage of their free trial service instead.
If you have Login Problems and forgot your login information (e.g. email address/password combination), then first of all DON’T PANIC! This happens more often than you might think, especially with SoundCloud being a popular site with so many different users on it. It’s normal to make a mistake every now and again when typing them in, especially if you don’t use those details very often – since they are usually long phrases that we tend to forget. So no need for any stress; instead just follow the link here to recover your account: https://soundcloud.com/ . From there click “Reset My Account” (on the left hand side) BEFORE you try and create a new account – it will provide a much better solution for your problem.
Otherwise, if for any reason you don’t have access to that email address, or lost all the details associated with it, then contact my support team to solve the issue: [email protected] . I’m sure they’ll be able to resolve this as soon as possible for you!
SoundCloud has strict procedures in place that can help people report copyrighted material quickly. If an audio track is claimed by its owner, users who upload that content may find their account disabled until they remove the file from their profile. If you believe that someone has posted copyrighted material in your profile, please contact us immediately.
In order to report any content for a copyright violation on SoundCloud, click here and fill out the form . Please note that we only process copyright claims from the claimant themselves.
If you do not own the copyright to a given piece of content, and would like to report it or its associated rights holder for infringement, please click here.
If you are trying to delete your account completely (and not simply your uploaded audio files) then click here . Otherwise if there is some material that you want to remove from your profile but keep the account active, then follow these steps.
Your account will be deleted with the rest of everything if you reset your password to something new and forget the original password. If you are lucky enough, as another article recommends you to use a website called “haveibeenpwned”, then it’ll display your previous passwords in clear text. You can read more about this method here. I personally used this method on the old soundcloud but they have updated their system after that incident, they added some complicated encryption so that you cannot see all your past passwords unless you’ve signed up from a specific location (so basically unless you’re using a proxy, you can’t find your old password).
However, there is always an alternative method. The owner of this application must have stored a small database file containing all his users’ passwords. And by finding it, we can reset any account without even knowing the previous password. First of all, I will describe how to install and run Burp Suite on Kali Linux (if you’ve never used this app before then please take a look at my other article about how to hack into WPA-2 encrypted WiFi networks using this tool).
First of all, make sure you’re logged in as root user or superuser (if your account is not the root, then become it by typing “su” in the terminal and enter the root password when asked for). Now go to your browser and type localhost in the URL bar and hit Enter (this way we are accessing our own machine from inside our network). Because if someone else were to hack into our PC, they would be accessing it via the public IP that is not protected by any password.
