If you’ve forgotten your Xbox One passkey, there are a few ways to reset it.

  1. If you have a Microsoft account, sign in to your account and go to “My games and apps.” Under “Your games and apps,” select “Xbox Live.” Under “Profile,” select “Account settings.” On the left side of the screen, under “Password & security,” select “Reset password.” Enter your old password and choose “Reset.”
  2. If you don’t have a Microsoft account, sign in to your Xbox One. Select the Settings icon on the Home screen. Select System. Under System, select Passwords & security. On the right side of the screen, under Profile, select Change password. Enter your old password and choose Change.
