If you’re a groupMe user, it’s time to reset your account. GroupMe is a social media platform that lets users connect with other users to share photos, videos, and other content. If your groupMe account is lost or stolen, you can’t access your data or posts. Here are some tips to help reset your groupMe account:

  1. Log in to your groupMe account and click on the “reset my password” link.
  2. Enter your email address and password in the fields below and click on the “reset my password” button.
  3. Your groupMe account will be reset and you will be able to access your data and posts again.

  1. Go to https://www.groupme.com/recover and enter your phone number associated with your account as well as the security question that was set up on your account. If you don’t remember it, enter a value in the box below and click Next . You can also try this if you’re receiving an error when trying to reset: “Sorry, you entered an invalid security question.” [NOTE: This has been observed to work more often than not]

  2. You will get a confirmation code sent via text message or email that you’ll n enter.

  3. Enter your new password twice and click Next .

  4. Click Reset .

Yeah, I know. The website needs a lot of work done to it that’s a far cry from something that Apple would release under their brand name. There are some groups I am unable to see the content of whatsoever and one time when I tried sending someone a message in a group chat, they didn’t receive it! But all these faults can be forgiven once you realize how well this app works for its intended purpose: GroupMe is absolutely great at helping groups of people keep in touch with each other! You should definitely try it out if you haven’t already.  I use them frequently enough with classmates as well as students in my classes. For class-related groups, I’d like to be able to see what’s new in the GroupMe instead of having to constantly open it up and refresh it hoping for an update.
