If you’re feeling overwhelmed by learning a new language, there are a few things you can do to help ease your way. First, take some time to relax and de-stress. This can be done by taking a walk or doing some light exercise, such as yoga or meditation. Additionally, try to find someone who can help you with the material you’re struggling with. This person can be someone who is experienced in the language being learned, or someone who is just listening and helping out. Finally, don’t be afraid to ask for help from others if you feel like you’re struggling too much on your own. There are people out there who would be more than happy to help out!
Sorry, but no, unfortunately not 🙁 We really wish we could let you restart your course right away, but it’s against Duolingo’s terms of service. However, if you finish your current tree and then pause/resume it (which you can do even without finishing a tree), or do other lessons in between the times on your course, you will still gradually make progress toward the trees.
You may be able to find other language-learning apps on your phone that let you resume where you left off (Duolingo for Android uses the same database as our website – so you should still be able to use Duolingo on your phone after a gap in time), but they probably won’t have as many courses or nice features as Duolingo does. I hope this helps! Cheers 🙂
Sorry, there’s not another way around it 🙁 Just keep at it! It really isn’t all that bad; when you learn something new, there are always things that take a bit of getting used to before they become natural and easy.
