If you’re like most people, you probably use Instagram to document your life and share photos of your favorite songs. But if you’re like me, you also use it to shazam songs. Shazam is a technology that allows you to quickly identify a song by its title and artist. So if you see “The Middle” by The Middle, and the artist is The Middle, you can just hit Shazam and it will identify the song as well. There are a few things you need in order to shazam a song on Instagram:

  1. A phone with an Instagram app installed.
  2. A music file that has the song’s title and artist included.
  3. A computer with internet access (or an app that allows for internet connection).
  4. A microphone!
