Xbox One power bricks are a common sight in gaming circles, as they provide the power to play games on the console. But how do you take them apart? Here’s how:

  1. Open the Xbox One power brick cover by unscrewing it from the console.
  2. Remove the two screws at the back of the power brick.
  3. Peel off the protective film that covers the wires inside of the power brick.
  4. Disconnect all of the cables from inside of the power brick by pulling them out one by one (or using a connector removal tool).
  5. Place each cable on a work surface and disconnect their ends from each other (or use a connector removal tool to do this).
  6. Place one end of each cable back into their respective connectors on the back of the Xbox One power brick cover and screw them in place (or use screws to hold these in place).
