But if you follow someone on Instagram and they suddenly stop following you back, it’s not hard to figure out how to unfollow them without getting blocked. Here are a few tips:

  1. Type the person’s name into the “follow” field of their Instagram account and click “follow.”
  2. If the person has a public profile, their followers will automatically show up in that field as well. However, if they have a private profile, their followers won’t show up until they create an account and post something new.
  3. To unfollow someone without getting blocked, just click on the “unfollow” button next to their name in the “followers” section of their account.
