Xbox 360 owners have a lot of options when it comes to updating their console. You can go to the Xbox Live website and sign in, or you can use the Xbox Update app. The app is available on both the Windows and Mac platforms. The first thing you need to do is find your console’s firmware version. To do this, open the Xbox Update app and look for the firmware number that corresponds to your console’s model number. For example, if your console is called “Xbox One,” then the firmware number would be “1.” Once you have found your firmware number, you can update it by following these steps:

  1. Open the Xbox Update app and click on the gear icon at the top left corner of the screen. This will take you to a menu where you can select “Update My Console.”
