Apple has just released iOS 10, and as with every new release, there are a few things you need to do in order to keep your iPhone running smoothly. If you’re not familiar with iOS 10, we’ve put together a guide on how to upgrade your iPhone to the latest version. First and foremost, make sure that you have an up-to-date Apple ID. This is necessary in order to sign in to your account and update your phone. If you don’t have an Apple ID, create one now. Next, make sure that your phone is charged up and unlocked. Unlocked iPhones are more likely to be stolen because they’re less protected by security features. Make sure that you have the correct security code for your phone too - this will help protect it from being stolen or used without your permission. Once your phone is fully charged and unlocked, head over to the App Store and install the latest version of iOS 10 on it. Once installed, open the App Store and click on the Update button at the top of the screen. You’ll be asked for a few pieces of information - such as your Apple ID and password - which will need to be entered into order for the update process to start automatically. Once complete, tap on Install updates and wait for the update process to finish before restarting your iPhone!
