Major League Baseball is set to make its debut on Xbox Game Pass later this year. The service, which costs $9.99 a month, will offer subscribers access to live and archived games from all 30 teams. The move comes as Microsoft looks to bolster its gaming offerings and compete with rivals like Sony PlayStation Plus and the Nintendo Switch Online service. MLB is the latest addition to Game Pass, which already includes games from EA Sports, Bethesda Softworks, Ubisoft, and more. “We’re excited to bring Major League Baseball to Xbox Game Pass,” said Microsoft Studios head Phil Spencer in a statement. “This iconic sport offers an exciting experience that can be enjoyed by fans of all ages.” The addition of MLB will give subscribers access to more than 2,000 games over the course of the season. Those who are not interested in subscribing can still watch games on MLB Network or through other streaming services like Sling TV or DirecTV Now. ..
