If you’re like most people, you probably have an account on music services like Spotify and Apple Music. But if you’re like me, the account might not be working as it should. The first thing to check is whether your music service is telling you that your account is inactive. If it’s not, make sure that you’ve added all of your songs and albums to the service and updated your preferences. If all of that still isn’t helping, then it might be worth checking out whether or not your music service is giving you a warning about a problem with your account. If there’s a problem with your account, the next step would be to try refreshing your password or resetting your password if it’s been forgotten for some time. If those steps don’t help, then you might need to reach out to customer support for help.
So if you want to prevent this from happening to you then right when you sign up for instagram make a new email that has nothing to do with your current one.
I’ve also been considering making another social media account because I’m super paranoid about this happening again. But if anyone is out there and thinks they are being hacked, go into google chrome’s incognito mode and see if you can get into your account! If not then that’s probably why they got in. Make sure all of your passwords are set on at least 8 characters long & include numbers or symbols! Also, keep track of all the IP addresses used once in awhile just to double check that no one has been on your account.
